What to do with an old Apple Watch
Ideas for your old timepiece
I have two Apple Watches (an Ultra and Series 8), and I keep both of them on the go.
One watch is always on the charger, and I swap it out when I need to recharge the other one.
This way I get to always wear an Apple Watch at night for sleep tracking, plus I get credit for standing and moving during the day (when my watch might be on a charger), ensuring my rings are closed.
I get the impression quite a few people do this. Lots of people seem to keep their old Apple Watch as a backup.
Now saying this, I also have maybe half-a-dozen older Apple Watch models collecting dust in a drawer somewhere.
I had no idea what to do with them — except trade them in — until I read our feature story this week: What to do with an old Apple Watch.
Check it out if you have an old Apple Watch collecting dust.
