iOS 18's new Photos app needs tweaks
The "biggest redesign ever" clearly requires major changes.
Apple says iOS 18 will bring “the biggest redesign ever of the Photos app,” and apparently it’s a real doozy. But not in the way Apple intends.
Cult of Mac writer D. Griffin Jones has been testing the Photos app in the iOS 18 developer betas, and he argues that it’s not ready for prime time. Apple needs to make major changes before unleashing the redesigned Photos app on the public.
