We got so tired of waiting to see a ruggedized Apple Watch that we cooked up some mockups that show what the long-rumored device might look like.

Our Apple Watch expert Graham Bower thought long and hard about how Cupertino might craft the Explorer Edition for athletes. Then he cranked out some concept art.

Will the sporty smartwatch actually look like this when (if) it arrives? Who knows. But we love daydreaming about upcoming Apple gear. I hope you do too.
