Biggest Apple Watch ever?
A rugged Apple Watch designed for "extreme sports athletes" will bring the biggest screen yet later this year, according to the latest rumors.
But the bigger screen won't be that much bigger. And unlike the lean jocks it's aimed at, it sounds like the smartwatch's price tag will be pretty fat.
Talk of better battery life sounds promising, but the real question is, what will this sports-oriented Apple Watch look like? Will it be a G-Shock-esque statement piece for your wrist (like in our exclusive mockups)? Or just a slightly thicker, brawnier version of the wearable we already know and love?
We'll find out soon enough -- the clock's definitely ticking on this long-rumored Apple Watch variant.
Cheers,
Lewis Wallace, managing editor
P.S. Sorry "The Weekender" is late -- our email service provider crapped out this week. Better late than never I guess ...

Reviews
The new Apple TV+ series about an inmate tasked with cozying up to a suspected serial killer begins as a blustery and entirely too familiar tale of bad men doing bad things, without much to distract from the cliches. However, armed with an impressive cast and crew, Black Bird soon starts to pick up steam.

Nothing beats the classic style and comfort of a premium leather Apple Watch band. And calfskin leather typically makes for an especially supple version of the classic strap.

“Backlighting” in the context of displays usually refers to LED lighting. And while this M1 Pro MacBook workstation has a new Studio Display with such backlighting, that’s not what the headline above refers to.
Most of the time, when we talk about home automation, we’re talking about Apple’s HomeKit system. But this computer setup, which relies on a formidable M1 Max MacBook Pro and dual displays, goes another route.
