Best Apple TV+ shows
Stream them free this weekend (plus what to look forward to in 2025).
In case you haven’t heard, Apple TV+ is free for everyone this weekend. If you’ve never tried Apple’s streaming service, or you haven’t checked it out for a while, you might be shocked to see the incredible array of exclusive content on offer.
You can choose from more than 250 TV shows and movies, including loads of mind-blowing sci-fi, mind-expanding documentaries, rib-tickling comedies and fun shows for kids.
To help you find the gems, we updated our list of best Apple TV+ shows — you’ll find plenty of binge-worthy series, from sci-fi to comedy to drama. If you’re not a subscriber, just open the Apple TV app (on whatever device you like) and see what you’ve been missing.
And if you decide to stick around and subscribe — or you’re already hooked on shows like Severance and Slow Horses — we also put together a list of all the Apple TV+ shows coming in 2025 that we can’t wait to watch.
Also in this edition of The Weekender:
Apple TV+ shows aren’t the only thing we’re excited about in the coming year. Here’s our list of five ways Apple could wow us in 2025.

With a little work and a small investment in parts, you can turn an iMac into a DIY Studio Display.
Need some help achieving your goals in 2025? Check out these apps for staying fit and focused and battling booze.
Finally, if getting (or staying) in shape is one of your goals, an Apple Watch can help. And a great sale on Apple Watch Series 10 drops the latest model to a price that beats the Black Friday deals from November.
Enjoy your weekend!

You can potentially earn quarterly income as music royalties flow from platforms like Spotify, YouTube, and TikTok.
