Apple Vision Pro gives up its secrets
Successful preorder week brings lots of answers about the headset.
Apple’s Vision Pro sold like hotcakes when preorders opened Friday morning, and now we know a lot more about the $3,499 headset. Like how much it weighs, what storage options and accessories cost, and what Vision Pro is really good for.
My favorite part of the week’s Vision Pro infodump is an amazing new Apple video, which hits you with mesmerizing images of the headset’s production. Just over a minute long, it offers a fascinating look at Apple’s industrial chops.
Ultimately, I didn’t preorder one of the headsets (my glasses prescription won’t work with the optional Zeiss inserts). But I’m desperately curious about it.
How about you?

A legal decision means Apple must allow app developers to sell subscriptions outside of the App Store so they can avoid Cupertino’s 30% cut. However, Apple’s implementation of the mandated change is being slagged as “bad faith compliance” by some.
Shockingly, Apple switched off the Blood Oxygen app to keep Apple Watches on its store shelves. I can barely breathe after all this legal drama!
There’s a spy movie called Argylle coming soon to Apple TV+. And it could be the start of something big.
Enjoy your weekend!
