Apple Mail learns new tricks
Find out how to take advantage of new features in the email app.
Have you tried Apple’s Mail app recently?
As a longtime Gmail addict, Apple Mail has never been my first choice. However, upgrades in iOS 18.2 make Apple Mail more compelling. It can automatically sort your email into categories (just like Gmail does). Plus, it can quickly show you all the messages from a certain sender in a very elegant way.
It’s pretty slick!
Find out how to use the updated Apple Mail app in this weekend’s featured how-to (there’s a video version, too).

Passkeys supposedly will supplant passwords at some point. Wouldn’t that be awesome? Find out how passkeys work and how to use them right now.
Apple posted solid revenues last quarter. However, the company warned that tariffs might cost it $900 million next quarter.
Another bad bit of news for Apple this week: A judge sent the company an 80-page nastygram for failing to abide by a court order affecting in-app payments. Apple finally complied, but the judge asked the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of California to consider criminal charges!
Want to score some essentials before tariffs hit? Our favorite deals this week slash the prices on AirPods, the latest MacBook Air and iPad Air, the gorgeous black titanium Apple Watch Ultra, a variety of powerful Anker chargers and an easy-to-use eSIM for international travel.
Enjoy your weekend!
